kenmore TAEKWONDO Grading march 2023
Grading Report - Taekwondo
The Sun Bae Korean Martial Arts grading for Taekwondo (white to red 2 rank) for the Kenmore (Brisbane) area was held on 16th March at OLR and concluded with good results. It is always quite a challenging experience for students to perform under the watchful eyes of the examiner, Grandmaster Bradley Tatnell and this time was no exception. With the new changes in poomsae (pattern) from Kukkiwon (Headquarters of Taekwondo in Korea), it was obvious our Grading Examiner was closely checking each and every student's poomsae moves. It was satisfying to see that all the grading applicants had worked hard for the past three months and all performed well under pressure.
There was a notable difference in skills and etiquette between the senior ranks and the the junior ranks, but it was gratifying to see many junior ranks performing with advanced skill and etiquette. Over 60% (out of 35) students were awarded 'Honours' at grading this time and a few even double graded, a testament to a strong overall performance by Sun Bae Kenmore centre. Others who did not achieve Honours still did very well to pass. Everyone has something to improve for next grading.
I am very proud and happy for your achievements. Many thanks to all parents for your continuous support and co-operation.
