Over 200 students are expected to compete, representing their club in the Annual battle for the Champion Club. Last year's winner was Newmarket, completing back to back wins for the first time since 2011 when Jamboree Heights dominated. Historical favourites, Indooroopilly, have won six times and have been close, placing 3rd in the last two years. Regents Park, The Gap and Kenmore have all been right there on the heels of Newmarket, looking to secure a comeback win in 2017. Newcomer Toowoomba will be one to watch though, a great club, albeit newly opened and is likely to steal a few Gold.
