New Trophy Announcement - Club Championships
Players Team Award
For the first time, our 2018 Championships will see a secondary award for the poomsae event. The trophy will be awarded to the team who has the best record of medal wins per capitia or per player - the "Players" award.
How it works: divide the number of medals overall by the number of team entrants. This will give a percentage of your team that scored a medal. For example:
Team A: 10 medals with 40 entrants (10/40) = 25%
Team B: 5 medals with 15 entrants (5/15) = 33.33%
....team B wins!
This will enable new clubs with less entrants to be more competitive. In addition, I have resurrected the very first trophy Sun Bae ever used (from 1998), in honour of the new category. Yes, the trophy is 20 years old, celebrating 20 years of competition at Sun Bae.
