About Sun Bae
Sun Bae is a Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo, Hapkido and Kumdo. Centres are located across Brisbane and also in Toowoomba (Australia). Sun Bae was founded by Master Instructor Bradley Tatnell, who has been teaching since 1983. Master Bradley is a master in each style with Taekwondo 8th Dan Bo, Hapkido 6th Dan and Kumdo 4th Dan.
Sun Bae offers a unique style. Our normal classes combine the ancient Korean Arts of Taekwondo and Hapkido (Kumdo classes held separately). Sun Bae focuses on self defence. Classes are fun and joining in is easy. As you train longer, you will achieve rank and eventually learn more and more techniques.
Men, women and children from ages 4 to 55+ make up the broad range of Sun Bae students. There are separate classes for kids (Tigers) and adults, although families can still train together in the adult class.
Sun Bae is a member of World Taekwondo, The Korea Hapkido Federation and The Australian Kumdo Society. All black belts receive an international certificate (Kukkiwon, etc), recognised world-wide. Train with Sun Bae and work towards achieving your black belt in all three Korean arts. The learning never ceases and the whole family can enjoy Sun Bae together.
