MIddle Park Grading March 2025

Grading Report Taekwondo

The March grading cycle started with a first gup seminar at the Gap dojang on a Saturday morning, followed by a black belt test. Here, Sabeomnim (Instructor) Brendan completed his 2nd Dan Bo grading with an honours result.

Even more cause for celebration, his first student Mikayla passed her 1st Dan Bo test at the same time, with a result of Honours. This made her the newest Black Belt at Sun Bae, as well as the first ever student trained by Sabeomnim Brendan to achieve this result. They both demonstrated a high energy performance that was enjoyable to watch.

Following this grading was the combined coloured-belt grading, where Middle Park students joined Mt. Gravatt students at the Mt. Gravatt dojang.

Here around 30 students performed a grading in front of Grand Master Bradley, Master Ben, and Instructor Brendan.

A notable achievement from this grading was that almost all of the white belts achieved a result of honours, with strong performances in poomsae.

Many students will now prepare for the Hapkido grading in late May.
