Team Patterns - Championships
RESULTS & MEDALS
There were 163 patterns (poomsae) entrant this year, another large turnout. Instructor Shirly and Team Kenmore stamped its foothold on the Championships this year, recording 10 gold with a total of 24 medals, the highest count in the history of the event. They eclipsed the previous record also set by them in 2019, 8 gold and 17 total medals. The results are:

Team Patterns - Players Trophy
RESULTS & MEDALS
The Players Trophy has traditionally been won by smaller teams, the result decided upon the team with the highest percentage of medals. For the first time, Instructor Shirly and Team Kenmore has won the Players Trophy, recording a healthy 53%. The results are:

High Kicking
RESULTS & MEDALS
High kicking can be won by any rank and this year was no exception with first and second place in the Pro division going to white belts. They were not so close to the record, but earned their medals with outstanding performances (for their level). We look forward to seeing what they can achieve next Championships after a full year of training. Also of note was the performance by Zion de Jager Smith who equalled the 2007 record of 224cm in Male <155cm division. The results are:

Power Breaking
RESULTS & MEDALS
Power breaking on roof tiles is a somewhat traditional test for advanced students. Never try this without permission from your Instructor, as it can be quite dangerous. Every year our competitors are faced with a decision upon how man they should stack. Too many and you can lose power. Not enough and you are might be left wondering. It was another exciting event, with spectators treated to a great display of martial arts. Of worthy note was Master Mark's breaking display upon the twin stacks of 8 tiles per side. The results are:
